As part of its summer programs, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, represented by the Guidance and Counseling Department, organized an awareness lecture titled “Your Life Is a Trust”, coinciding with the International Day Against Drug Abuse.
The lecture was delivered by His Excellency Dr. Abdulmajid bin Ibrahim Al-Khar’an, who highlighted the major health, social, and psychological risks associated with drug abuse. He emphasized the importance of promoting preventive awareness among community members and highlighted the role of educational institutions in spreading preventive culture and reinforcing positive behaviors.
This lecture is part of a series of summer programs and activities implemented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, aimed at utilizing the summer vacation period to provide awareness and educational initiatives that contribute to raising awareness levels and enhancing social responsibility among students and community members.
