The Deanship of Student Affairs – Female Section held the “Best Chef” competition on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the College of Education, with the participation of 10 female students from various colleges.

The competition featured innovative Saudi dishes, where the students creatively developed traditional recipes using modern methods while preserving authentic Saudi identity. This reflected remarkable creativity and high culinary skills.

As part of the competition activities, accompanying awareness programs were held, focusing on the importance of healthy food. An interactive exhibition entitled “Cooking Tools: Past and Present” was also featured, showcasing the evolution of kitchen tools throughout history and how modern technologies have facilitated cooking while preserving heritage values.

Dr. Hajar Al-Qudaib, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, expressed her delight with the level of participation, noting that such events aim to refine students' talents, enhance nutritional awareness, and deepen their connection to Saudi heritage in a creative and modern way.
