Quality and Development Unit
The Quality and Development Unit operates within the framework of the Deanship of Student Affairs’ commitment at Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University (PSAU) to the University’s vision and mission of delivering distinguished services. The Unit seeks to promote continuous improvement in administrative practices and deanship services, contributing to the University’s development and community service. This is achieved through promoting and implementing quality concepts among the Deanship’s staff, enhancing their professional skills, and establishing and implementing an effective quality assurance system.
Unit Responsibilities
* Design surveys and data collection tools related to measurement and evaluation.
* Provide recommendations for improving administrative processes within the Deanship.
* Ensure compliance with the requirements for obtaining ISO 9001 certification.
* Conduct internal audits of the Deanship’s work procedures and operations.
* Organize workshops and training programs for Deanship staff.
* Oversee the development and continuous improvement of the Deanship of Student Affairs website.
* Prepare required reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
المنحة الدراسية هي عبارة عن مقعد دراسي تخصصه الجامعة للطالب غير السعودي والمقبول للدراسة بها مع منحه المزايا المالية المقررة نظاماً. وسعياً من جامعة الأمير سطام بن عبدالعزيز لرعاية طلاب المنح الدراسية، فقد تم استحداث وحدة رعاية طلاب المنح والوافدين بعمادة شؤون الطلاب حيث تعتبر الجهة الإدارية المختصة بخدمة طلاب المنح الخارجية في الجامعة.
مهام الوحدة:
استقبال وتوديع طلبة المنح الدراسية الخارجية بالمطار.
التنسيق مع المستشفى الجامعي لإنهاء إجراءات الفحص الطبي.
استصدار الاقامات وتجديدها.
الإرشاد الأكاديمي لطلبة المنح الدراسية الخارجية بالتنسيق مع الكليات.
الرعاية الاجتماعية والأمنية لطلبة المنح الدراسية الخارجية.
تشجيع المتميزين من طلبة المنح الدراسية الخارجية مادياً ومعنوياً.
تأمين المستحقات المالية وتذاكر السفر لطلاب المنح الدراسية الخارجية
الاستفادة من طلبة المنح الخارجية المتميزين في البحث العلمي والترجمة.
التواصل مع طلبة المنح الخارجية بعد تخرجهم.
دعوة المتميزين من الخريجين للمشاركة في المؤتمرات التي تقيمها المملكة.
إعداد التقارير المطلوبة حول طلاب المنح الدراسية الخارجية.
Disability Support Unit
The Disability Support Unit operates under the Deanship of Student Affairs at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. It is the entity responsible for implementing programs, plans, and strategies specifically designed to address the needs of students and university affiliates with disabilities.
Mission
To provide comprehensive support services—educational, technological, and social—that promote students’ independence and contribute to their academic success.
Vision
To foster an inclusive university environment that ensures equal academic and social opportunities for students with disabilities.
Responsibilities
• Communicating with individuals with disabilities to identify and assess their needs.
• Providing guidance, counseling, and academic support services.
• Establishing and maintaining an up-to-date database of students with disabilities.
• Ensuring the provision of an equitable and accessible learning environment.
Objectives of Student Clubs
The objectives of Student Clubs can be summarized as follows:
* Foster the development of well-rounded student personalities in accordance with Islamic values and translate those values into positive behavior and practices.
* Provide a supportive environment that enables students to pursue their interests, hobbies, and recreational activities.
* Identify, develop, and nurture talented students across various fields.
* Create opportunities for students to enhance their skills and abilities, exchange experiences, and receive encouragement, support, and recognition for their achievements.
* Participate in various events and activities at both the local and international levels, and exchange experiences in accordance with applicable regulations.
* Document student achievements and establish a database of student talents in different fields.
* Promote the spirit of teamwork, cooperation, and volunteerism among students.
* Prepare students for the workplace and help them develop a sense of responsibility.
* Encourage the productive use of students’ free time in ways that enrich their knowledge, broaden their experiences, and stimulate their intellectual capabilities.
* Strengthen bonds of friendship, mutual respect, cooperation, and social cohesion among students.
أهداف النشاط الاجتماعي هي كما يلي:
- ربط أنشطة الطلاب في الجامعة والمجتمع المحيط بها بما يحقق تبادل الخبرات والفوائد بين الطرفين وبما يخدم مصلحة المجتمع المحلي.
نشر الوعي والثقافة البيئية بين الطلاب
- تنظيم دورات لمكافحة أهم السلبيات كالتدخين والإدمان. يحاضر في هذه الدورات مجموعة من المتخصصين في هذا المجال من أساتذة وأطباء ورجال دين.
تعريف الطلاب بتاريخ وحضارة بلادهم من خلال تنظيم رحلات إلى أهم المناطق والمعالم المميزة في المملكة.
- تعميق حب العمل الخيري والإيثار من خلال الأنشطة الاجتماعية وأنشطة الخدمة العامة.
تتمثل أهداف النشاط الرياضي في الآتي:
البناء السليم والحسن للجسم.
1- المساعدة على بناء جيل رياضي جامعي يتسم بالأخلاق الحميدة والسلوك العادل من خلال غرس روح المنافسة الشريفة والتعاون بين الطلاب.
2- تكوين شخصية متوازنة من خلال غرس الثقة بالنفس لدى اللاعبين.
3- تعريف الطلاب بالقيادة الرشيدة من خلال غرس روح الثقة والمسؤولية.
4- تعميم النشاط ليشمل أكبر عدد ممكن من طلاب الجامعة.
5- تكوين فرق جامعية وفرق في الألعاب المختلفة للمشاركة في المسابقات الجامعية والوطنية ، من خلال إقامة مسابقات ودوريات داخلية للكليات ، وكذلك الدوري الجامعي على مستوى جميع الألعاب الفردية والجماعية المتاحة.
اكتساب تجارب رياضية مختلفة من خلال التواصل مع لاعبين من داخل الجامعات السعودية في جميع البطولات التي يقيمها الاتحاد الرياضي للجامعات السعودية.
تتمثل أهداف النشاط الثقافي فيما يلي:
الارتقاء بفكر وثقافة طلبة الجامعة من خلال مسابقات أدبية مجانية في مختلف المجالات ، ومسابقة البحث العلمي والأدبي ، ومسابقة الدوري الثقافي في المعلومات العامة ، والمسابقات الدينية الكبرى في حفظ القرآن الكريم ، والأحاديث الشريفة ، والثقافة الإسلامية ، والصحافة الطلابية. مسابقة إعداد المجلات الجدارية.
ربط الشباب بقضايا مجتمعهم وبلدهم من خلال ندوات توعية دينية وثقافية وبيئية ووطنية.
ترجمة مخرجات النشاط الثقافي في الجامعة إلى نتاج فكري وأدبي وفني يعبر عن الروح الشابة في مجتمع المملكة.
تنظيم الأيام والمواسم الثقافية والمشاركة فيها سواء داخل الجامعة أو على مستوى الجامعات السعودية الأخرى.
