The Deanship of Student Affairs – Guidance and Counseling Unit – organized a remote training course yesterday, Monday, June 17, 1447 AH (corresponding to June 17, 2026), entitled "Psychological Preparation and the Art of Dealing with Exams," via Microsoft Teams. The course was presented by Dr. Nadia Saleh, Associate Professor at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Wadi Al-Dawasir.

The course covered several key topics, including:

- Defining exam anxiety and its physical and psychological symptoms.

- Sources of anxiety, its causes, and its negative impact on academic performance.

- Effective strategies for positively managing exam stress.

- Practical guidelines before, during, and after exams.

The course aimed to empower students to manage exam anxiety using sound scientific methods and enhance their psychological readiness, which will positively impact their academic performance.

The course was met with great enthusiasm and broad participation from students, who enriched the session with their valuable questions and contributions, demonstrating their keenness to develop their psychological and behavioral skills during such critical periods.

At the end of the session, the Guidance and Counseling Unit expressed its sincere thanks to Dr. Nadia Saleh for the rich and distinguished scientific content she provided. It also thanked all the participants and affirmed that the Deanship of Student Affairs will continue to organize quality guidance programs that support students psychologically and academically throughout the academic year.
