Outstanding Students Track
The Outstanding Students Track at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University focuses on identifying academically outstanding students, providing them with comprehensive support, and fostering their development through a variety of enrichment programs designed systematically to ensure a rich and successful experience.
This track aims to contribute to the objectives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting and nurturing outstanding students by adopting best scientific practices in service delivery and quality assessment. Accordingly, the track adopts a performance indicators framework to monitor the development of outstanding students and evaluate the quality of services provided by the Talent and Outstanding Students Support Unit.

Support Services Provided to Outstanding Students
In addition to the enrichment and developmental programs offered through the track, enrolled students may benefit from the following support services:
* Assistance in selecting preferred courses and class sections, in accordance with the academic program study plan.
* Issuing certificates and official letters confirming students’ affiliation with the unit and documenting their areas of excellence and achievement.
* Providing financial and moral support for research and innovative ideas.
* Assisting students in attending external courses and programs that support and enhance their areas of excellence.
* Providing the necessary facilities, equipment, and resources that contribute to developing students’ talents and distinguished abilities.
* Supporting talented students and preparing them to participate in local and international competitions and exhibitions related to their talents.

Talented Students Track
The Talented Students Track is designed for students who demonstrate outstanding abilities in one or more areas of talent, including creative thinking, specialized skills, and exceptional capabilities such as sports, acting, leadership, drawing, poetry, and other fields of talent and creativity.
Admission Requirements
Students are eligible to join the Talented Students Track programs if they meet any of the following criteria:
* Achieving eligibility status in official assessments related to innovation and creativity.
* Receiving a recommendation from specialized nomination committees responsible for identifying and evaluating talented students.
Support Services for Talented Students
The University provides a range of support services and developmental opportunities for talented students, including:
* Mentorship programs that foster meaningful connections between students and distinguished faculty members in areas aligned with students’ talents, enabling them to further develop their skills and knowledge.
* Offering a general enrichment program each academic semester focused on developing creative thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Organizing community and environmental service activities to enhance communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
* Introducing students to local and international competitions and providing guidance and support for participation.
* Providing psychological and social support services.
* Organizing field visits to organizations and institutions whose activities are related to students’ areas of talent.
* Nominating talented students for specialized training programs offered by local and international organizations and institutions.
* Providing financial and moral support for innovative and research-based ideas.
* Supplying the necessary resources, equipment, and facilities required to foster students’ excellence and talent development.
* Bringing talented students together in groups with similar abilities, skills, or interests and organizing regular meetings to encourage collaboration and exchange of experiences.
The Recruitment Track targets high school students who demonstrate outstanding talent and excellence in various fields, in cooperation with regional education departments.
Admission Requirements
High school students are eligible to benefit from the Recruitment Track programs if they meet any of the following criteria:
* Achieving the required scores in the assessments administered by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba).
* Receiving a nomination from the regional Education Department.
Support Services for Recruitment Students
The University provides a range of support services and opportunities for students enrolled in the Recruitment Track, including:
* Allowing high school students to enroll in talent development programs offered to university students.
* Facilitating opportunities for collaboration and communication with experts in students’ fields of interest, including university students and faculty members.
* Providing scientific and research experiences that enable students to further develop their strengths and talents, including access to university laboratories, research facilities, and research centers.
