On Monday, March 2, 2026 (corresponding to Ramadan 13, 1447 AH), the Deanship of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the University Hospital and the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Education, organized a virtual dialogue session entitled "Your Health is a Trust, and Your Awareness Makes the Difference." The session aimed to promote health awareness and establish a balanced lifestyle within the university community.
The session addressed several key topics, including obesity and insulin resistance, the foundations of healthy nutrition, the importance of willpower in modifying daily behaviors, and the pharmacological aspects of these issues.
This session was part of the awareness programs organized by the Deanship during the holy month of Ramadan and was a key event associated with the second annual "Your Health is a Trust" competition. The competition's mechanism and registration process were explained during the session to encourage broad participation from all university members.
Such dialogue sessions contribute to deepening health awareness among students, faculty members, and staff, and encourage them to adopt sustainable health choices that make health an integral part of their daily lives at the university.
