<p>Yesterday, Sunday, 06/11/1446 AH (1446/11/6 AH), the Deanship of Student Affairs held a closing ceremony for the "Be Aware" campaign, organized by the Guidance and Counseling Unit. The campaign aims to raise awareness among students, promote positive values, and protect them against threats to their psychological and social well-being. The ceremony was held in the University Theater, Building 6.<br>
The ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech by His Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Issa bin Khalaf Al-Dosari, in which he welcomed the attendees. He stated: "Over the course of an academic year, efforts have been made and programs implemented through our blessed "Be Aware" campaign, in which we have been keen to provide everything that contributes to equipping students with the necessary skills to help them confront difficulties and find solutions to the obstacles that stand in their way. We also strive to provide a healthy environment conducive to success, reflecting on their academic and professional lives, and benefiting their community and nation."<br>
The attendees then watched a visual presentation of the distinguished achievements and contributions made by the Guidance and Counseling Unit of the Deanship of Student Affairs to university students.</p>
<p>This was followed by a purposeful dialogue session titled "Managing Academic Stress," which, with the approach of exam season, addressed the most prominent challenges facing students at this stage and discussed practical solutions to help them overcome them with steadfastness and calm. The session was presented by Dr. Khaled Al-Otaibi and Dr. Noura Al-Owaid. At the end of the ceremony, the participating entities in the "Be Aware" campaign were honored, as were the students who won competitions and initiatives related to the campaign.</p>
