On Monday, May 26, 1447 AH (corresponding to May 26, 2020), the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a cultural event entitled "Cultures Under One Roof," with the active participation of several women's colleges at the university. The event aimed to promote cultural exchange and highlight the rich diversity of civilizations.

Ten women's colleges participated, each representing a different country's culture through displays of traditional clothing, popular cuisine, and customs. The participating countries included: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Syrian Arab Republic, Mexico, India, Japan, France, Italy, and the United States of America.

A "Best Costume" competition was held on the sidelines of the cultural event, with 47 students from various colleges participating. Each contestant wore the traditional dress of one of the participating countries and presented it to a judging panel, including the name of the garment, a description of it, and the occasions or times it is typically worn in its country of origin.

The competition resulted in 10 students winning first place, and they were honored and presented with awards amidst enthusiastic applause from the audience.

The Deanship of Student Affairs affirmed that such events aim to deepen national identity, broaden students' horizons to encompass world cultures, and develop their presentation and communication skills. The Deanship noted that the large student turnout reflects the event's success and their positive engagement with it.
