Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, has begun its participation in the 16th World Scout Meeting of Rovers (Moot), hosted by Portugal from July 25 to August 3, 2025. More than 7,100 Rovers representing 118 Scout associations from around the world are participating. The event, held in Lisbon, includes various activities such as skills workshops, cultural exchanges, and celebrations showcasing the national cultures of the participating delegations.
The opening ceremony featured musical and singing performances from Portuguese heritage, reflecting the culture of the host country.
The Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association's participation aims to promote the values of dialogue and cultural understanding, and to develop the leadership skills of Rovers, supporting their role as active global citizens.
