Under the supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs and in cooperation with the Intellectual Awareness Research Committee at the university, the “Ambassadors of Moderation” program was organized; A lecture entitled: "Citizenship and its Impact on National Belonging" at the College of Education in Al-Kharj on Tuesday, 26th of Sha'ban; Presented by Dr. Muhammad bin Amer Al-Swaigh, Deputy Dean of Library Affairs. In it, Dr. Al-Sweigh spoke about the foundations of building good citizenship, love of the homeland and belonging to it, working for its advancement and progress, love of working for the homeland and repelling harm from it, preserving its gains, and active participation in social, economic and cultural development plans. And the impact of this citizenship on people’s lives, building the nation and contributing to its development, and keenness on every action that transcends and raises our society and brings it to the position we want. The lecture touched on the most important qualities that a citizen should possess towards his homeland; The most important of which are self-responsibility and protection of public property, showing the morals of a Muslim who is aware of his religious and worldly matters, taking the initiative to put forward constructive proposals and visions to serve the nation and society, promoting national culture and spreading awareness of the nation’s history and achievements, and its geographical and economic importance. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Muhammad thanked the students present for their interaction and participation, asking God to grant them success.
