The Deanship of Student Affairs – Female Section – organized an educational program entitled “Little Scout,” hosting 30 female students from the elementary grades at Khawla Bint Al-Samit School in Al-Kharj Governorate.

The program began on Tuesday, June 18, 1447 AH (corresponding to June 18, 2020), with the students being welcomed and given miniature scout uniforms and commemorative gifts bearing the program's logo to create a welcoming atmosphere.

The program included an introductory session presented by members of the Deanship's Rover Scout team. The session covered the concept of the scouting movement and its role in developing personal and social skills, with a focus on the values ​​of discipline, cooperation, and responsibility.

Following the introductory session, the students participated in a series of purposeful scouting activities and games. These included confidence-building exercises and teamwork games such as hand-to-hand transfer and safe crossing, as well as learning the basics of scout knots and lashings and using a compass. Divided into small teams, the students demonstrated positive interaction and practical application of the principles of teamwork and discipline.

The program concluded with the distribution of participation certificates and commemorative gifts to the students, followed by a group photo.

This event is part of the university's ongoing efforts to enhance community engagement and provide practical educational experiences that support the holistic development of the next generation.
